What is included?
With both editions.
- The complete program for Windows and macOS, with the same features on both platforms.
- The Swiss Ephemeris and the place database are built into the program. No separate downloads needed.
- The full interface in Dutch, English, German and French.
- Your data stays local on your own computer, with backup and restore options.
Licence
One-off, not a subscription.
You buy a personal licence that lets you use Celestium on up to three of your own devices. The licence is for one user.
Updates
Maintenance and improvements included.
Your purchase includes maintenance, bug fixes and improvements within the version you bought. New functionality outside the existing version may be offered separately.
In practice: if something does not work properly, it gets fixed. Improvements to existing features are included. If we develop a substantially new extension in future, it may be offered separately.

I use free chart software now. What do I get here on top of that?
Celestium brings calculating, storing, comparing, researching and learning together in one working environment. Your charts and data stay local on your own computer, and you can keep using the same environment as your astrological knowledge and way of working develop.
What if I do not get on with it?
That is why you can try Celestium for fourteen days first. You use the full version you download, without entering payment details up front. If you decide not to continue, you do not need to do anything.
Am I dependent on a subscription or a server?
No. Celestium runs locally on your own computer and is not a subscription service. You do not depend on an external server to use your saved charts and calculations.
Can I take my charts with me if I stop?
Yes. Your charts stay stored locally on your computer. You can also export data to supported formats, so you can use it outside Celestium as well. Other astrology programs and ordinary spreadsheets read those formats. Your data also sits in a file in your own documents folder, which you can copy and take with you.
